This describes the current demo and proposed service. The operator’s identity, privacy contact, applicable jurisdiction, providers and retention periods must be completed before account registration opens.
1. The current preview
This website does not offer live accounts or send notifications. The interactive dashboard stores sample reminders and any reminders you add in your browser’s local storage. That data is not submitted to a NotifyWay application database. The web server may receive ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser information and the pages requested, in its access logs.
2. Information the planned service will use
Once launched, the service is intended to process your email address, a securely hashed password, verification status, timezone, reminder subjects, schedules, optional locations and notes, and delivery records. If you choose WhatsApp, it will also need your own phone number, verification status and notification consent.
3. Why this information is needed
The planned purposes are to manage your account, verify your contact details, schedule and deliver the reminders you request, help resolve delivery failures, and protect the service against abuse. The legal grounds and any required consent disclosures will be specified for the operator’s jurisdiction before launch.
4. Email and WhatsApp providers
Sending a reminder requires sharing its destination and relevant message content with the selected delivery provider. Those providers, their privacy policies, processing locations and any transfer safeguards will be identified once integrations are selected. No delivery providers are connected in this preview.
5. Browser storage and cookies
The demo uses local storage under the key notifyway.demo.v1 to remember your dashboard changes. It does not install advertising or analytics integrations. Future account sessions will require essential security cookies and updated disclosures.
6. Your choices
You can edit and delete individual demo reminders. “Reset sample reminders” replaces your demo changes with fresh samples. To remove all saved demo data, clear this website’s browser storage. The live service is planned to provide account and reminder management, with a documented process for data access and deletion.
7. Retention and security
Demo reminders remain on your device until you clear them or your browser removes its storage. Do not use the preview for sensitive information. Live account, delivery-log, backup and server-log retention periods, and the account-deletion process, will be documented before launch.
8. Contact and updates
The operator’s legal name, postal address and privacy contact will be added before launch. This draft will be updated to match the implemented service and confirmed provider arrangements.
